Simple folk sit a little closer to the fire and urbanites keep the lights on in their high-rise lofts in the hopes they'll be passed over if something comes to call.
You are placed in the middle of this but not as a normal human. You are a powerful supernatural being and it is your destiny to embrace the darkness and welcome all the dangers and pleasures it has to offer. Your journey will take you to places you can only dream of and perhaps some places you wish you could stop dreaming about once you have visited.
